this morning i got to talk to my lovely sister in christ Shea butter!!! @ 6:06 AM
this morning i got to skype and talk to my good friend amanda shea. she is one of my bestest friend from union college. i consider her as my little sister. i was so happy that we got to finally skype each other this morning in the philippines times and nebraska time was last night hehehe. anyways...i was happy to hear some new news about her life this year and how volleyball is treating her. i didn't know she tryout for american idol this past summer break. i was pretty happy to hear that she did cause she does have an amazing voice. sadly to know that she didn't make it to the next round but she told me that she will tryout again next summer and if she doesn't get in. she is going to try the next and the next until she gets in.
i love how she is...she never gives up on things she keeps going and going...
i've seen her before doing the same thing in her studies. whenever she didn't get the grade she wanted in her test she keeps finding a way for her to retain the knowledge she learned and make a better grade for her next test.
i learned so much from her from observing her through her ways of achieving things. she never gives up and i believe she follows Justin bieber's moto "NEVER SAY NEVER"
she has taught me to never give up! keep striving for what you want to be...."
i know she believes that i could make it and finish up even though i sometimes fail myself and think that i can make it she would always say those things never give up.
i'm glad to have her as one of my closes friend who believes in me that i could make it in life.
it's true what they say ...
your closes friends in college will be your lifetime friends! :)
& i do have them and i surely do miss them so much...
