so today was an interesting day.
why???
cause this afternoon was pretty interesting.
my last sem CI that i haven't seen in awhile came up to me....
saying things that i can't believe why he said it in front of my friends.
like yeah...from across i saw him waving and i waved back.
but saying ....
hey sexy!!!! in front of me and in front of my friends is kinda awkward.
but as usual me...i was like hi! :)
then he kept saying i miss u...then realize that around me was other students and was like ....i miss you all.
strange things.
i miss that CI and i know i always see him randomly in paseo and other places.
he's not that old...he's like 5 years older than me which is fine!
but yeah....
whatever the future holds. i guess...

whoa...i haven't gone on this in a while. crazy. but let's see what happened in the past few months. well...last march i finally went back home to California. it was good to be back home for three weeks. did a lot a lot of things. mostly spent the days in LA with my family and friends. LA is home... i love being there than be in the IE. IE is just too plain...annoying with the most annoying people on earth. yes i can say that i'm not originally from the IE. i'm an LA baby! lol!!! but yeah...had so much fun! here are the things i done over my March Madness :)
los angeles (the angel city)
- i love this city! places i visit were....
- old time pasadena: a place to go to shop and enjoy some nice restaurant.
- The Grove: another place to go shopping and to enjoy the farmer markets and eat!!! plus...you'll never know you'll bump into a star!!! plus...i went here to watch the indonesian movie the raid!! a must seen in the state!!! bad thing it's in subtitle but you'll love the action of it.
- clubbing near staple center. yes ...i went clubbing on a friday night with my brother, cousin and friends. it was nice. just what i needed to get back on my foot. it wasn't the place we wanted to go but it's cool. thanks to my cousin who paid for my brother and mine drinks. plus....a big thanks to my friend jola who got us in for free. seriously whenever i go to the club i hardly pay.
- hooters in LA: so addicting. i love their chicken wings. so craving for it and their jello shots!!!!! lol!!! no question on that.
- edision: nice fancy bar for jolanda bday!! so got wasted there...thanks guys for giving me the drink you all don't want. especially the gin and tonic grapefruit. and one thing to note is never get advice on what drink to get from jola!! she just like to screw me up! lol
- fogo (well...brazillian steakhouse): omg...the most expensive place to eat i ever went tooo!! yes i would go back when i have the money but the beef, lamb, salad etc was AWESOME!!! plus...the best thing was that i was in my little world and alll wasted when drama hits!! there is always drama with my sistas! lol!!!
SANTA BARBARA
-went to see my brother before i went back. i love santa barbara cause it's just relaxing and like it's my 2nd home. the beach, the chill atmosphere. come on it's the lifestyle.
LAS VEGAS...
-vegas is just a few hours away from home but had an awesome day. playing the slots and watch le reve. i guess it's nice heading to vegas when you're over 21! my mom and dad doesn't worry if we leave to go somewhere. but it was awesome ...the show was amazing!! a must see.
HOME rialto...
- spent time with my puppy. i miss her so much.
- spent time with my dog polly! she's fat but i love her dearly.
- spent time with my not so little cousins dian and maya.
- spent my own quality time at VG or ontario mills.
- drive around and hanging out with jola and monica.
- happy hours with jola and monica.
- fun time naming the indian waiter at bjs while being a little tipsy and watching the lakers game.
- got to see ando!!! :) it's been 7 years!!!
- sleep and relaxes
- watch mucho movies at the theaters
- spent time with my two babies megan and marvel. lol!!!! they're so big now.
- spent time with the cousins.
- saw my other baby dom. he's so big!!! my indian boy!
well....it was an eventful time.
didn't get to skype with friends in nebraska but it's good to be home.
note to self: no more drinks till i head home in march. need to be sober for a year. :)

it's been awhile... @ 8:59 PM
Nursing has taken over my LIFE!!! No kidding! I sure do love being busy and catching up reading all this Nursing things and checking out from my checklist! Practically that's how my life goes here in the Philippines but other than school things the philippines has been good to me. Yes it has! The weather is so unpredictable but traveling to Manila once in awhile has made it so easy since i understand and speak a few of tagalog! :)
just one more month then i'll be home sweet home for a good 21 days (i think). i sure can't wait to be back to the homeland! i miss america!! i've been in asia for such a long time! seriously...yes i do LOVE to travel to Indonesia just for BALI! cause BALI is an amazing place to be at! i sure do miss my 2nd home ...i'll sure head there soon again. come on...my aunt's house is still there. hopefully it's fixed. maybe some day i'll buy a house there or my parents would just buy a little house. like an vacation house rather than buying one in Jakarta! hehehe....

BALI I LOVE YOU! @ 8:45 AM
So my dad didn't end up going to Indonesia for our family reunion in Porsea, North Sumatra. Plus he missed our little adventure to Bali.
Anyways...I'm happy that my mom had surprised me when i arrived to Jakarta on december 18 midnight telling me that we are officially spending 3 days in Bali!
i was super excited cause I love Bali and i miss it so much.
yes...i spent a whole week and a half last december break 2010 cause my cousin was living there and i claim i'm from bali!
sadly my aunt doesn't live there anymore but she still do have her two houses there!
the other best thing was that we got to stay at kuta in hard rock hotel!
since the other house in denpasar was a disaster! seriously...it was so sad when we got there. i cannot bear to spend a night there due to the smell of molded ceiling which is so bad for your health.

i have the best Clinical instructors/nursing teachers here in the philippines.
why?!?
cause they're so helpful and most important you can totally be good friends with them.
come on...majority of the teachers are like 5-6 years older than me. :)
i never had the close connection with the nursing teachers back in UC but here in the AUP they pretty awesome. whenever i see them either out of campus or in campus they always say hi or chatted for a little while. especially ....they are very concern when you're out alone. hehhe...

so...it's been awhile i haven't wrote on this blog.
i tried to updates things that happened here in the philippines.
well....let me update few things that happened this 2012. :)
so it's january and it's my FAVORITE month of the year! The reason why is that it's my bday month and i get to have the same bday months with my two best friends tana and ben!!! woot woot! but sadly i didn't spent my special day with my two bestest since i'm a thousand thousand miles away. :(
ok...i should just make it in bullets and see what new things had happened so far in JANUARY 2012!
- opening the new year in Indonesia!
- leaving the 1st day of the year back to the philippines and spent the whole 3 hours in the plane.
- met a guy at the mall which he worked for those cosmetic company Jericho dead sea products from israel. turns out he was israel/brazil. he's sooooo cute!
- my birthday went back to the same mall where that cute middle eastern guy worked at (turned out he was there) and ate at CPK with a few of my friends and end up talking to the middle eastern guy and found out his bday was two days before mine. the good thing was that we were born on the same year! yah!!!
- midterm!!!! thank you God for your blessing and guidance for helping pass all my exam for midterm! especially my nursing exam which was covered about almost 10 chapters. :/
- intrams week jan 18-23 2012 College of Nursing (CON) was the biggest supporter for our college since all of our classes and duties were cancel except for those who have special duties. yes..our dean wanted us to be there in every single games that were playing each single day. but we end up being the 2nd place college i think.
- first checklist of this year gloving and handwashing....did my best and got a great result.
practically this year had started pretty good.

The experience i had so far in nursing school had been amazing. Well...with the skills checklist and lecture it had been pretty well interesting and I couldn't ask for a better amazing CI/teachers team!!! :)
To be honest I pretty am happy that I got the chance to experience nursing school in The Philippines because there isn't no such thing as JACHO here in these government hospital plus...next year when i start my clinical I get to scrub in like a med student during my special clinical or what they call here special duty!
i bet back home in nursing school you don't get to do things like this! :)
